What a Deal
We got a recommendation for where to find fabric in Turkey and I picked up a meter of this dots within dots. Using the new math, I think it's a little more than twice as wide as fabric at home and only 8TL. Plus close to some delicious Turkish Delight.

Procrastinating
But it's for the children. Here's another block for the guild project.
I am doing some of the things I should too. Like looking up travel apps instead of packing. Oh wait, that might not count.
Must print label next.

Guild Star
The tutorial is from the twobutterflies blog.
Fun, quick and cute!
Lemon Squares Back
There are 37 other things that I should be doing but this morning I pieced the backing for the Lemon Squares quilt. It's made up for random widths of orange and yellow flannel. And by random I mean that I did lots of math on a scrap of paper until I had a big enough back planned. And then I carefully cut and stacked the strips. It seems to have worked out. After I get back from vacation (and the machine has 2 weeks at the spa) I'll come up with a quilting plan.

Saturday Stash #12
A little pile of fat quarters from Hawthorne Threads (I think). The line is California Dreamin' by Jenean Morrison and I'm thinking of turning it into a quick baby blanket. The orange on top is my favorite.
I have been doing a little bit of actual sewing but am prepping for a vacation and that requires a lot of reading and panicking. No, I don't have anything to panic about, I just do it anyway.
