Turkish Cotton

Turkish Cotton, originally uploaded by shanleytulip.

Despite traveling with two non-sewing peeps, I managed to spend a bit of time in some fabric shops in Turkey. A couple in Bursa which was pretty cool. We learned how to count at least up to 5. The guy helping us was truly amused at our ridiculous attempts with 2 and 3. One is easy, "beer", but holding up your thumb not a finger. Bursa is a cotton mecca. In fact, on the pillow store rows you picked your pillow form and then the cotton stuffing from huge bags.
The orange blocks on the back of the chair is a heavy weight fabric and the lines/interior squares are silver. Shiny silver.
